Blowing bubbles is a simple activity that is fun for the young and young at heart. It’s also good exercise for the lungs, in fact, some occupational and speech therapists use it with clients. Even those in the late stages of the disease may be able to blow if someone holds the wand in front of them. If your loved one feels silly blowing bubbles on their own, invite the grand kids over and have them join in. Or, if you have a cat, try bubbles infused with catnip!
Fun for all species!
