Scrapbooking is not only a hot new trend, which means there are tons of classes to help you get started, it’s also a great way to organize all those loose photos everyone has lying about the house. Why not help the person with memory loss make a few albums, maybe one per family member and give them away as gifts. Or, keep the albums and use them to spark conversations and jog old memories. Either way, at least those photos will be out of shoeboxes, bags, etc and presented much more beautifully.
To make this activity easier for those in the more moderate stages of the disease, perhaps allowing them to sort the photos and have someone else trim and place them.
