Go on a Picnic

Make any meal special by serving it outside.  Even if it’s just in the backyard, eating in a new place makes even a plan peanut butter and jelly sandwich seem extra delicious.  The scenery gives you lots of ideas of things to talk about, and it doesn’t matter if crumbs get on the ground!  For those in the more moderate or severe stages of the disease, it might be wise to stick with finger foods rather than anything that needs a fork, and a water bottle is much less likely to spill than a wide-mouthed cup.  Otherwise get out there, enjoy the sunshine (which sunscreen, of course), and celebrate that winter really is over!
