Visiting a farmer’s market is a great way to get some basic grocery shopping needs met in a way that feels more like a treat than a chore. You can pick up fresh fruits and veggies (and in many cases, much more) all while enjoying a relaxed atmosphere and fresh air. You might even catch a live music performance!
Those in the moderate or severe stages of memory loss will need someone to stick close by, of course, but they can certainly still enjoy helping pick out the “best” product at each stand- and then having a taste! Use this outing as a way to reminisce about past shopping habits, what you could make with each product sold, how much things used to cost, etc.
