It can be hard to find something to do to entertain with late-stage memory loss. However, a night-sky nightlight can be a nice way to spend an evening. “Star gazing” can also be a nice, calming way to help someone in the middle stages relax before bed (or at least keep in bed long enough to get them to go to sleep). I like the above light because it incorporates movement, to help keep the person’s attention. However, there are lots of options that project static images as well.
Of course, “star-gazing” is a great time to reminisce about old camping trips, reflecting on what is in the sky/the heavens, telling old ghost stories (if not too scary for the person with memory loss) and lots more.
